We collect personal data and information from you when you use the Website or the App, for example when you apply for an account with us (‘User Account”) or respond to specific information requests from us.

The Website and App automatically receives and records some information from your browser or mobile phone when you visit the Website or use the App, such as cookies and data about which pages you visit on the site through the use of log files provided by our third-party tracking-utility partners.

Do note that your personal data may be collected in these ways:

1.when you submit the application, registration forms or other forms through the App;

2.when you interact with QCDM’s social media pages;

3.from publicly available sources;

4.from credit reporting agencies;

5.when you interact and communicate with QCDM at any events or through activities;

6.from QCDM’s related entities;

7.from your use of other websites operated by QCDM;

You may refuse to supply personal data or information, except that we may not be able to perform or provide the services as listed in the Website or App, or fulfil any of our contractual obligations towards you and you may not be able to participate in certain activities in the Website or on the App.

We will only collect personal data from you if you voluntarily submit such personal information. In accordance with the PDPA, we provide you with the means to access, update, edit or delete certain personal data related to your User Account. You can change or delete such data as desired in your User Account settings.

Should you wish not to use any of our services or receive service-related messages, you may close your User Account, by contacting us. Notwithstanding the closure of your User Account, we may not be able to delete records of our past interactions and transactions. For example we are required to retain records relating to previous bookings and purchases for financial reporting and other compliance reasons.

Your personal data includes your name, identity card number, email address, telephone number, home address and such information which is personal to you, and which can identify you.

We will use the personal data we collect in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the “PDPA”).

We use your personal data for QCDM’s business operations which include (but may not be limited to) the following matters:

(a)to identify and authenticate you to enable us to perform our obligations in respect of any contract entered into with you, to provide you with any service you have requested, to validate your bookings or services you have requested and to provide you with customer support;

(b)to process, manage or verify your application for a User Account, to administer your User Account with us, to display your name, username, profile on the Website and/or App (including reviews);

(c)to improve the Website and App and the delivery of our services. We may use your feedback from you to better our services;

(d)to process your feedback and complaints, to investigate any actual or suspected breaches of our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, fraud, unlawful activity, misconduct, intellectual property infringement;

We have appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal data, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site and/or Mobile App (as applicable).

Your personal data may be shared with third parties who provide a service to the Website and App. For example, we may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Website or App or administer activities on our behalf, such as collating your feedback, sending out news, surveys, conducting marketing activities, provided you have provided your consent. We may also work with third-party service providers for fraud prevention and/or identity verification.

Your User Account information is protected by a password. It is important that you protect against unauthorized access of your User Account and information by choosing your password carefully and keeping your password and computer secure by signing out after using the Website and/or App. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal data submitted to us, both during transmission and on receipt. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You undertake to treat your username, password and other details confidentially and not make it available to unauthorized third parties. We cannot assume any liability for the misuse of your QCDM username, password or order or other details.

We will retain your information for as long as your User Account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you no longer want QCDM to use your information to provide you services, you may close your account. QCDM will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Currently we are using NGAF Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) to prevent intrusions and attacks from the internet into our network system. We also use End Point Detection and Response (EDR) secure software to perform real-time protection and remove malicious programs from the client device controlled by our domain. In addition, all sensitive data are stored in secure cloud data servers through our private server.

We may send you messages via SMS or mobile notifications via the App. Some of these messages are service related and necessary for our User Account Holders. These messages are not promotional as they are part of the services provided to User Account holders. You may not opt out of these messages unless you close your User Account.

As a User Account holder, QCDM may also send you messages related to certain features on the App or your activities on the App. QCDM may also send you news or updates about changes to our services.

We may send you emails as part of the delivery of our service, fulfilment of our obligations to you under contract, send you information which you have asked for, newsletters, promotional emails and/or offer related services to you from QCDM.

In the course of interacting on and within the Website and/or the App, you may provide other information (other than personal data), which we may collect such as the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about the means of connection to the Website and/or the App such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

We, or our authorised service providers, use cookies to enhance your experience on the Website. Your web browser will place cookies in your hard drive for record-keeping purposes and to track information about your use. You may choose to set their web browsers to refuse cookies. However this would affect your experience on our Website.

We may use software technology to help us manage the content on our Website, such as tiny graphics with a unique identifier similar in function to cookies. However unlike cookies (which are stored on your hard drive) tiny graphics are embedded on web pages invisibly. Based on our understanding, the information gathered from these tiny graphics are not linked to your personal data.
